Yes, we provide free measure and quotes and are happy to make an appointment to come to your house. We try and provide you with a quote on site, but sometimes we may need to look over the quote in our office. If you would like a price asap. We are happy to provide an approximate quote over the phone.

Both are an A grade safety glass. Laminated safety glass can be cut and processed usually on the same day. It is mostly used in glass sliding door replacements and shopfront windows. Toughened glass is cut to size and made into toughened glass and cannot be altered after it is processed. Lead time for standard toughened glass is 7-10 working days. Toughened glass is mainly used in bathroom windows, doors and sidelights.

We are required by law to install safety glass to meet the Australian Standards. The most common areas safety glass is required are Bathrooms, doors, sidelights, pool areas. There are also other areas where safety glass is required and our experienced staff will advise if it is required.

There are two common types of glass available. Clear Glass which has a ‘greeny tinge’ and Starfire Glass. If you choose Clear Glass you will end up with a colour that has a green tone. Eg. if you paint White on Clear glass it will appear as greeny white. If you paint White on Starfire Glass it will appear as White.

There is nearly an unlimited amount of colours to choose from. Ranging from a standard colour to metallic colours. We suggest you browse here for options to paint your splashback.

Basically these doors are very similar in the purpose they provide, a barrier to intruders. Both doors have an aluminium frame and a stainless steel mesh and have passed strict Australian Standards testing.
